Arrivals Exhibit at the School of Design and Creative Arts

We are excited to share that Arrivals: What’s Left Behind, What Lies Ahead’s is being shown in at the School of Design and Creative Arts, ATU Galway City Campus in Galway, Ireland.

The opening reception was held on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 as part of the 2024 Climate on Culture Conference hosted by the Idaho Musuem of International Diaspora (IMID).

The exhibit included new portraits of Ukrainian refugees that the Arrivals team captured in an earlier trip to Ireland while filming the documentary A Return Home.

The exhibit was warmly received, with tears and smiles, as some of the participants attended and viewed their portraits for the first time.

The evening included brief statements by co-creator and photographer, Andy Bale, Founder and CEO / Executive Director of IMID, Dr. Palina Louangketh, Labour Party Councillor for Galway City East Helen Ogbu, and Director of Operations and HR | TG4, Trevor Ó Clochartaigh.
